April 2 is the date slated for a combined open house and relaunch for HIP Fitness under owner Sara Shirazi, who took over ownership of the fitness studio in September. The offerings will remain the same as the other HIP locations in the West University area and River Oaks: workouts designed to burn up to 700 calories in one session through intense, low-impact exercises with high energy and loud music, according to the fitness studio’s website.
Over the last few weeks, the Sugar Land fitness studio has been adding class times to its schedule during the lunch and weekend hours, Shirazi said.
“Part of [adding to the schedule] was the feedback we were getting from clients,” Shirazi said.
