A 54,000-square-foot Kelsey-Seybold Clinic will be built in the Aliana master-planned community in Richmond, according to a July 17 news release.

The details

Construction has already begun on the new clinic, and it is estimated to open in 2025, Kelsey-Seybold officials projected.

Once built, the three-story clinic will hold space for 27 providers and offer comprehensive primary and specialty care for adults and children, the release stated. Amenities will include an on-site laboratory, X-ray and ultrasound, as well as a referral network for Kelsey-Seybold specialists with offices at the neighboring Fort Bend Campus.

The new clinic is meant to also expand health care options to nearby residents in Aliana, Pecan Grove, Waterside Estates, Long Meadow Farms and New Territory, per the release.

Quote of note

"[The] Aliana clinic will bring health care to a residential area that has been steadily growing for over [20] years—and where there is growth, there is also a need for convenient health care,” Tony Lin, Kelsey-Seybold Clinic CEO and chairman, said in a statement. “We are pleased to continue delivering on our promise to bring high-quality health care closer to people’s homes and workplaces.”

What else?

The new clinic at Aliana marks the fifth Kelsey-Seybold location in Fort Bend County. Its construction follows the expansion and new clinic announcements for the recently opened Stafford clinic, the Fort Bend Campus, the Rosenberg clinic, Katy Clinic and West Grand Parkway clinic.
