Fort Bend Children's Discovery Center to host free immunization event for children July 29

The Fort Bend Children's Discovery Center will host a free drive-thru immunization event July 29 in partnership with Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Houston/Galveston, according to a release from the museum.

Children ages 0-18 who need immunizations and qualify for the Vaccines for Children Program are eligible. The Vaccines for Children Program is available to those with no insurance, insurance that does not cover vaccines or Medicaid.

Parents or guardians must accompany the child and bring immunization records to the appointment.

Ronald McDonald mobile clinics are operated by Texas Children's Mobile Clinic Program. Appointments can be made over the phone at 832-824-6355.
