The Sugar Land Office of Economic Development and Tourism has named Elizabeth Huff as the new executive director of economic development and tourism.

In her new leadership role, Huff will oversee business expansion and retention efforts for Sugar Land, according to a March 12 news release. She will also oversee the organization’s tourism strategy.

“I am honored and excited to step into this new role to lead our talented team and drive economic growth and prosperity in Sugar Land,” Huff said in the release. “I look forward to building upon our city’s strong foundation and collaborating with our community partners to create new opportunities for residents, businesses and visitors.”
