Beer and Pepper Pairing

Texas Leaguer Brewing Co. puts on this event comparable to appropriate wine and cheese pairings. Six Texas Leaguer brews are paired with chili pepper cream cheese spreads and a vessel to dip with. Those who purchase VIP tickets will receive their own whole peppers to pair with beer. The event will also feature prizes and giveaways.

My '00s Playlist Tour

Party like it's the early 2000s during this showcase of R&B, pop and rap music talents from the decade. Ludacris headlines this show at the Smart Financial Centre and brings artists such as Ja Rule, Ashanti and Mike Jones for a night of nostalgia. This benefit event at the GSH Event Center combines philanthropy with a night of music, food and dancing. Event planning company The Ordered Step throws this formal ball for guests age 21 and older to celebrate in the spirit of New Orleans’ grandiose Mardi Gras holiday with vibrant colors and parades. A portion of proceeds will support Tatum’s Place, a nonprofit foundation that offers daily respite and emergency child care for families of children with autism and other disabilities.Running with a Heart 5K


The fifth annual race, which includes a 5K and a kids 1K, takes place at Sugar Land Town Square. Participants will receive a finisher’s medal, a T-shirt and coupons to the event’s sponsor facilities. Proceeds benefit Fort Bend Rainbow Room, a resource center for caseworkers who help abused and neglected children, as well as families in critical need of essential items, such as diapers, food, school supplies and toiletries.2024 State of the City Sugar Land
