Sugar Land and Missouri City residents can partake in early voting for the Nov. 4 election from Oct. 20-31.

What residents need to know

Residents can cast their votes at any of the 28 early voting locations countywide, which are open from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. from Oct. 20-25 and Oct. 27-31, according to Fort Bend County’s election website. Some locations will also be open from noon-6 p.m. Oct. 26



Additionally, applications for ballot by mail must be received by Oct. 24.


On the ballot

Several state and local races, including City Council positions and school district propositions, are on the November ballot.

Missouri City voters will be able to determine several local races, including:

Meanwhile, Lamar CISD voters will decide on the district’s $1.99 billion bond, which includes four propositions for new campuses, stadium improvements, technology refresh and student devices, Community Impact reported.

Additionally, voters statewide will have the opportunity to weigh in on 17 proposed state constitutional amendments. The amendments center around issues such as property tax reduction and funding water supply projects. To view all 17 propositions, click here.
