By the numbers
Sugar Land saw 10,943 voters cast their ballots during early voting April 22-29, while Fort Bend ISD garnered 15,981 voters, according to early voting statistics from Fort Bend County.
On the ballot
Sugar Land residents will choose the city’s next mayor as well as these four City Council positions:
- Sugar Land City Council, At-Large Position 1
- Sugar Land City Council, At-Large Position 2
- Sugar Land City Council, District 2
- Sugar Land City Council, District 4
Meanwhile, FBISD has two board of trustees positions up for grabs: Position 3 and Position 7.
Where to vote
Residents can cast their votes at one of 61 election day voting locations countywide, which are open from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. May 3, according to Fort Bend County’s website.
Voters should bring at least one of seven forms of appropriate identification options to the polls, including a Texas drivers license, personal ID card, handgun license, military ID card or U.S. passport, according to the Texas Secretary of State’s website.
