Fort Bend ISD is scheduled to open the 2023 varsity high school football season Aug. 24 at Ken Hall Stadium at 3333 Hurricane Lane, Missouri City, and Aug. 25 at Mercer Stadium, located at 16403 Lexington Blvd., Sugar Land.

New FBISD clear bag policies for district football venues can be found online, and a brief description is as follows:

• Clear totes, clear backpacks and clear storage bags are allowed—cannot exceed 12 by 6 by 12 inches
• Clear or solid small clutch bags—cannot exceed 4 1/2 by 6 1/2 inches
