Fort Bend ISD families hoping to enroll in pre-K classes can receive assistance at two enrollment events as the district works to fill its remaining seats for the 2026-27 school year.

District parents are invited to attend one of two registration events Aug. 29 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Progressive High School in Missouri City or Mission Bend Elementary School in Houston, district officials announced in an Aug. 26 news release.

District staff will be there to help families with language or technology barriers, per the release. The event will also feature free immunizations for eligible families.

The district has approximately 400 open spots for students, which is about 20% of the district’s available pre-K seats, Director of Strategic Communications Maria DiPetta said in a statement.
