These schools are scheduled to open August 2024 and will cater to prekindergarten through second-grade students, gradually expanding to include third, fourth, and fifth grades, according to the release.

The details

The addition of these new schools will provide more options for public education to families in the southwest, southeast and northern Houston communities, according to the release.

YES Prep elementary schools offer curricula that focus on reading, writing, STEM subjects, special education programs and bilingual education.

It's noteworthy that all YES Prep schools are tuition-free and have no academic admission requirements, according to the release.
