Two new principals and a new executive director of transportation will start the 2022-23 school at Fort Bend ISD.

During its June 13 agenda review meeting, the FBISD board of trustees approved Raymond Anderson Haas, Clementine Arana and Michael Jones to the positions of Dulles Elementary School principal, Edgar Glover Jr. Elementary School principal and transportation executive director, respectively, according to a June 13 news release from the district.

Haas, the current assistant principal at FBISD’s Heritage Rose Elementary School, will step into the principal role having served as a summer school principal at Armstrong Elementary School and as assistant principal for eight years at Oakland Elementary School, according to the news release.

Arana, meanwhile, is currently the assistant principal at FBISD’s Ridgemont Elementary School and an English as a Second Language summer school principal.

The district’s new transportation executive director, Jones, has served as the transportation director for Lamar CISD since 2015. He comes to the district with 40 years of experience in school transportation.

The hires come after the FBISD board of trustees approved three other administrators April 28.
