The district is offering these meals for students both enrolled in the district and not, according to a June 3 district announcement. Any student age 18 years and younger, and any enrolled student with disabilities up to age 21 can receive free meals, according to the announcement.
“For the children who rely on school meals during the academic year, these meals offer a source of good nutrition when school is out for the long summer vacation,” the district’s child nutrition department said on its website.
Students are not required to be accompanied by an adult to receive meals, but they must check in at the school’s front office. Students do not need to have an ID, but any accompanying adult must have a state-issued ID. Students must be present, and they also must consume the meal at the school.
Meals will be offered at the locations listed below.
