Updated Aug. 7, 12:02 p.m.: P.F. Chang's Sugar Land location at 2120 Lone Star Drive has joined Houston Restaurant Weeks. Original post: This year's Houston Restaurant Weeks fundraiser will include five Sugar Land restaurants. From Aug. 1-Sept. 2, some 250 Houston-area restaurants are participating, according to a press release. Each restaurant serves specially priced multicourse prix fixe menus including brunch, lunch and dinner. All of the donations from participating restaurants go directly to the Houston Food Bank. Founded in 2003 by Houston Food Bank volunteer Cleverley Stone, the fundraiser prices lunch and brunch at $20 and dinner at $35 or $40. About 15% of those sales are donated, which enables the food bank to provide between nine and 21 meals per Houston Restaurant Weeks meal sold, according to the release. Here is the first draft of Sugar Land restaurants:
  • Churrascos, 1520 Lake Pointe Parkway
  • Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille, 2115 Town Square Place
  • Rouxpour, 2298 Texas Drive
  • Turquoise Grill & Bar, 16019 City Walk
  • Vino & Vinyl, 15977 City Walk
Houston Restaurant Weeks will continue to add restaurants and menus to its website listing through Aug. 1.
