Business software and solutions company Modisoft broke ground on a new headquarters building in the Sugar Land area on Oct. 10.

The company, currently located at 13131 Dairy Ashford Road, Stafford, is expected to move into the new location at 6932 Brisbane Court, Sugar Land, by the end of 2024, said Safi Modi, head of growth at Modisoft.

The background

Modisoft CEO Sohail Modi founded the company in 2005. Before establishing Modisoft, he owned a convenience store and recognized the need for a more user-friendly point-of-sale system, according to a news release from the company. This prompted him to create his own system.

Modisoft's new headquarters will be a hub for business software and technology advancements, according to the release.
