New homesites are now available in Heritage Park in Sienna Plantation.

Sienna Plantation is opening a new section of about 600 homesites called Heritage Park, according to developer Johnson Development Corp.

Heritage Park is located on the west side of Village of Sawmill Lake near the Logan Pass and Fox Bend communities. A new-model home park of nine homes will also be going there in late spring.

Neighborhood features will include two parks, including a dog park as well as a new series of home designs. Eight builders are involved, including Chesmar Homes, which is designing plans for 28-foot and 45-foot homesites, Sienna Plantation General Manager Alvin San Miguel said in a statement.

Also offering 45-foot floor plans will be M/I Homes and Newmark Homes. Lennar, Newmark and Perry Homes will build on 50-foot homesites in Heritage Park, and Meritage Homes and Westin Homes will offer floor plans for 60-foot lots. Home prices are not yet available.

Sienna Plantation is a 10,800-acre master-planned community in Missouri City. About 530 homes were sold there in 2018, a 42 percent increase from 2017, according to Johnson Development.

The community is projected to add some 5,000 new homes in the next 10 years, according to recent data from College Station-based Population and Survey Analysts.
