Fort Bend County reported 74 new cases of the coronavirus June 10, according to the county’s Community Impact Dashboard. The county is also reporting 51 recoveries and zero new deaths.

Today’s new data brings the total number of coronavirus cases in the county to 2,299. Of these cases, 1,354 are active, 898 have recovered and 47 have resulted in death, according to county data.

There has not been a coronavirus-related death reported in Fort Bend County since June 3.

Additionally, 23 people in Fort Bend County are hospitalized from the coronavirus—no change since the day prior.

Community Impact Newspaper has reached out to Fort Bend County’s Health and Human Services Department for clarification on some data and reporting methods. All data in this story reflects county reports as of 5 p.m. June 10.
