As testing capacity expands and government leaders and medical professionals call for more widespread testing, several coronavirus testing locations are available to serve the Sugar Land-Missouri City community.

Although testing criteria varies by location, some testing centers have recently loosened their testing criteria allowing for people without symptoms to be tested. Test results may take several days.

Fort Bend County, in conjunction with AccessHealth and LabCorp, has opened two free, drive-thru testing facilities, one on March 30 in Rosenberg and the other on April 27 in Sugar Land. In order to be tested, Fort Bend County residents must call ahead to receive an identification code and schedule a date and time to be tested. Only then will they be provided with information on the testing centers' locations. On April 14, the county relaxed testing requirements, opening testing up to residents without symptoms. Previously, tests were limited to people with symptoms or in a high-risk category. Both locations can perform 200 tests a day. 281-238-2363. https://www.fbchealth.org/testing-for-covid-19/
