1. Turtle Creek Drive
The project to replace water lines and remove and replace the road surface on Turtle Creek Drive from Hilton Head to Mission Valley drives in Missouri City was expected to be finished in July. The contractor completed the paving portion of the project, and finished sidewalk and sod for a final walk-through by early August. Alternate lane closures were in effect throughout the duration of the project.

2. Gregory Boulevard
Conrad Construction Co. is conducting pavement reconstruction along the roadway from Fondren Road to McLain Boulevard in Missouri City, and the city is contributing $3.3 million to the project. The subgrade was prepared for new pavement in mid-July. Roadway construction is scheduled to begin in June 2016 and be completed by May 2017.

Street rehabilitation[/caption]3. Street rehabilitation
Street rehabilitation work is mostly complete along Wagon Trail Drive, Sage Brush Lane and Commonwealth Boulevard in Sugar Land. Street closures were conducted during the pavement rehabilitation of outside lanes and inlets. The project is part of a citywide pavement rehabilitation program, which budgeted $1.52 million for fiscal year 2015-16 and will cost an estimated $10.1 million by 2020, according to the city’s Capital Improvement Program.
A. Road closures were conducted for Wagon Trail Drive on June 30. B. Road closures were conducted for Sage Brush Lane on June 30. C. Commonwealth Boulevard closures from Austin Parkway to the roundabout at LJ Parkway lasted from June 28 until mid-July.

4. Austin Parkway improvements
Reconstruction of Lakefield Boulevard in the Lakes of Austin Park area of Sugar Land is completed, and the road is open. Some additional sodding is needed for the improvements that were made near Austin Parkway. Reconstruction was done to 2,803 linear feet of 8-inch concrete pavement along the road from Hwy. 6 to Commonwealth Boulevard. In addition, 3,000 linear feet of 12-inch water line was replaced. A completion walk-through was conducted in July and work is on track to be finished in August.

LJ Parkway extension[/caption]5. LJ Parkway extension
Work on the LJ Parkway connection to Commonwealth Boulevard in Sugar Land is completed, and the road opened in mid-July. Riverstone Development led the project to provide a direct route to their property via a single-lane roundabout on Commonwealth Boulevard. The roundabout is located near Palm Royale Boulevard. Construction also included a four-lane, curb-and-gutter roadway from just north of University Boulevard to just south of Commonwealth Boulevard.
