FEMA, SBA officials open disaster relief center in Rosenberg

A mobile registration intake center has opened in Rosenberg to help Fort Bend County homeowners and business owners file insurance claims to cover storm and flood damage sustained since late May.

Officials from the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the U.S. Small Business Administration opened the center at the Fort Bend County Rosenberg Annex at 4520 Reading Road, Rosenberg.

The center is providing assistance to eligible homeowners and business owners looking to apply for grants to fund temporary housing and home repairs as well as other disaster-related needs, according to FEMA officials.

FEMA officials are also asking residents to call 800-621-3362 to report storm damage and register with FEMA.
