Nashville-based app GreenPal will now connect Missouri City homeowners with local, pre-screened lawn care professionals.

With more than 1 million homeowners and 60,000 landscaping professionals using the platform, GreenPal is set to provide “Uber for lawn care” to Missouri City residents, according to an April 15 news release.

How it works

GreenPal offers same- or next-day service within city limits and a 10-mile radius to the surrounding areas, co-founder Gene Caballero said in an email.

According to the release, the process is contactless, and customers can take the following steps to secure the service:
  1. Using the mobile app or website, homeowners list their lawn, select a service date and describe their lawn care needs
  2. Pre-screened professionals place their bids on the job using property details and satellite imagery
  3. Homeowners can choose a vendor based on ratings, reviews and pricing
  4. Once a service is completed, lawn care providers upload a time-stamped photo of the finished work, and homeowners can pay directly through the app
About the company

The app has launched in over 250 markets and operates in 48 states, including major cities like Chicago, Los Angeles and Orlando, according to the release.

“After successfully launching in 250 other markets, we are excited to help homeowners in Missouri City find reliable, safe and local lawn care,” Caballero said in the release.
