The clinic, founded by Dr. William Hodges, will open at the Oyster Creek Crossing shopping center this summer, according to project information from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
The options
The clinic will offer emergency care, surgical procedures, end-of-life options and a spectrum of other services tailored to the needs of every pet. Hodges believes every pet and their human are unique, with distinct medical needs, according to the release.
LocalVet Urgent Care will provide care to pets when other clinics may be closed, operating after hours from noon to midnight and during weekends, according to the release.
About the owner
Hodges is a graduate of Texas A&M University with over 10 years of practice in emergency veterinary medicine, according to the release. Through his veterinary training, Hodges understands the level of care required when the unexpected happens.
