A new Take 5 Oil Change is slated to open in Sugar Land next year, officials said.

Construction for the location will begin in April 2025, said Taylor Blanchard, senior director of corporate communications for Driven Brands, Take 5's parent company.

In 1996, Take 5 launched the industry's first stay-in-your-car oil change, according to the company's website.

Sugar Land currently has one Take 5 location and Missouri City has two locations, according to the company's website.
