“In my first year of business, I closed around $8 million in volume over 15 transactions,” owner and sole broker for the company Norka Jenkins said.
Jenkins said she expects her business—pronounced "honesty"—to continue growing into the new year. The real estate broker said the past year has been a learning experience for her business, which is located at 77 Sugar Creek Center Blvd., Ste. 600, Sugar Land.
"The biggest lesson I've learned over the past year is to put clients first and to be honest," she said.
In addition, Jenkins has learned to challenge her clients, asking them if they are compromising too much on their purchase.
“I challenge my clients by asking them to really think about the purchase they’re about to make,” Jenkins said. “I want them to still be happy with their decision six, eight months down the road."
