Sporting-goods retailer Academy Sports and Outdoors will open its Magnolia location on Nov. 14, according to the company’s website.

The store is 55,000 square feet and cost $8 million to build, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. It’s located in a developing retail area off of FM 1488.
The Houston-area company sells sports equipment, athletic apparel, shoes, camping gear, grills and more.
Like other Academy Sports and Outdoors locations, the store will offer hunting and fishing licenses, reel line spooling, boresighting and scope mounting.
