1. Hotworx is planning to open a studio in Sugar Land's River Park community in December, according to franchise owner Christina Kenney. Located at 20026 Hwy. 59, Sugar Land, the 24-hour infrared fitness studio will offer a variety of high-intensity interval training workouts as well as isometric workouts, including hot yoga, hot Pilates and hot core. 2. Legacy Community Health, a full-service network of over 50 community health centers offering primary and specialty care, is collaborating with a science-driven wellness company to launch a new artificial intelligence-supplemented prevention and wellness lab. 3. The Y Factor, a men's urology and fertility clinic, opened at 8035 Hwy. 6, Ste. 100, Missouri City, on Oct. 20. The clinic is run by Nurse Practitioner Ahmed Tabbara and offers services for prostate and urinary problems, kidney stones, low testosterone, sexual dysfunction, and fertility issues. 4. A new location-based entertainment concept that combines interactive theater with emerging technologies is coming soon to Sugar Land Town Square. Department of Wonder, a 10,000-square-foot venue at 15958 City Walk that will look to stage an immersive, mixed-reality fantasy, is slated to open in early 2022, according to a Dec. 8 announcement. The entertainment concept will serve as an anchor inside the 32-acre pedestrian-friendly Sugar Land Town Square, and its opening will coincide with the completion of significant streetscape improvements to Sugar Land Town Square, which is in the midst of a major set of upgrades to retail tenancy, event programming and the physical environment, according to the announcement. 5. Sugar Land City Council gave the initial green light to a new Porsche dealership, which will be located between US 90A and the Southwest Freeway east of Dairy Ashford Road. Located by the Extended Stay America, SpringHill Suites by Marriott and Sugar Creek Baptist Church shopping center, near the Audi Dealership, the lot is about 1.11 acres. The dealership does not yet have a timeline for construction. When complete, the dealership will employ about 35 people making more than $100,000 annually each, according to city documents.

6. My Spice Grocery opened Nov. 8 at 6158 Sienna Ranch Road, Ste. 501, Missouri City. Located in the Luka Sienna Plaza, the grocery store carries a variety of products from South Asia, Africa and South America as well as fresh vegetables, and halal meat and fish.
