2. Visionworks opened a location at 5936 Hwy. 6, Ste. A, Missouri City, on Oct. 1. The optical retail store offers prescription contact lenses, glasses and sunglasses as well as eye exams. 3. Missouri City will be getting a Burlington, previously known as Burlington Coat Factory, in late 2022. The retail department store leased 25,015 square feet of space in the Fort Bend Town Center Phase II, which broke ground Aug. 5 at the intersection of Hwy. 6 and the Fort Bend Parkway Toll Road. Burlington offers a wide variety of men’s, women’s and children’s items, as well as home decor and other goods.
