From Sept. 23-Oct. 2, there will be eight musical acts representing the Texas Music scene, Traditional Country and Latin Music. Giovannie and the Hired Guns, one of Amazon Music's 2022 Artists to Watch, will kick off the fair on Sept. 23.
“Our fair’s entertainment lineup brings great artists who will deliver a good time,” said Chase Raska, 2022 president of the Fort Bend County Fair, in the press release.
On Sept. 24, Kevin Fowler will take the stage. This performance will be Fowler’s fifth appearance at the fair, the press release said.
Secretto, a Latin band, will perform Sept. 25. The band is from Edienburg, Texas, and they have toured from Texas to Indiana.
Entertainment will pick up again Sept. 28 with Carson Jeffrey. This summer, Jeffrey has toured through Texas and Oklahoma.
Jon Stork will return to the stage Sept. 29.
“I look forward to returning and making memories at what is my hometown fair,” Stork said in the press release.
Vocal group Shenandoah will be on stage Sept. 30. They are known for their country hits such as “Two Dozen Roses,” “Church on Cumberland Road” and “Next To You, Next To Me.” The band placed 26 singles on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart and won a Grammy and an Academy of Country Music Award, the press release said.
Sammy Kershaw, a country music player, will perform on Oct. 1. His hits include “She Don’t Know She’s Beautiful,” “I Can’t Reach Her Anymore” and “National Working Woman’s Holiday.”
A country music duo The Bellamy Brothers will close out the fair on Oct. 2. The Bellamy Brothers recorded hits for over 40 years, the press release said. They have 14 No. 1 hits, including “Redneck Girl” and “For All the Wrong Reasons.”
