The four-day culinary celebration, lasting April 4-8, takes place throughout the city of Sugar Land at Town Square, the Sugar Land Heritage Museum, the Marriott Hotel and Brazos River Park, according to the event’s official website. It features street food, cocktail creations, food and drink tastings, wine education classes and brunch dishes from local restaurants.
The SLWFA is a partnership between the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce and Atlanta-based events company IWSC Group North America who are working together to organize it, SLWFA event coordinator Quinn Hoang said. Proceeds will help fund scholarship endowments for the University of Houston’s Conrad N. Hilton College of Hotel and Restaurant Management.
