Community Easter eggs hunts
Sugar Creek Baptist Church members are sponsoring numerous egg hunts at apartments, community club houses, and churches in Sugar Land, Missouri City, Richmond, and Rosenberg. See the full list to find your closest hunt. Times and locations vary.
Old-Fashioned Easter
Participants start the day with a rollicking game of "pocking" eggs at the 1830s Jones Stock Farm, then participate in a traditional egg roll at the 1860s Ryon Prairie Home and decorate an egg using traditional methods at the 1890s Sharecropper Cabin.
At 11 a.m., 1 and 3 p.m., an old-fashioned Easter egg hunt takes place at the 1890s Davis Victorian Mansion. Free (children ages 4 and younger), $5 (children ages 5-15), $9 (seniors ages 62 and older), $10 (adults); a historic Easter lunch is available for an additional charge. 9th annual Easter Egg Hunt at St. Angela Merici Catholic Church

Worth the trip: Easter in the Gardens
Free Easter egg hunts, face painting, games, a petting zoo and more await guests at this year’s Easter in the Garden at Galveston's Moody Gardens. Easter egg hunts will be grouped for ages 2-9 years old, along with photo areas, and two buffets inside the Garden Restaurant or Moody Gardens Hotel. Walk-ins are welcome but reservations are recommended.
Garden Restaurant: 11 a.m.-3 p.m. (egg hunts), 11 a.m.-4 p.m. (Garden buffet), 11 a.m.-3 p.m. (Hotel buffet).
