Harris County Precinct 4 is studying a two-part project to improve West Mossy Oaks Road in north Spring. (A) Segment 1 will extend West Mossy Oaks from Rothwood Road to Fritz Lane as four lanes with improved drainage and traffic signals. (B) Segment 2 will continue those improvements along West Mossy Oaks from Fritz Lane to Mossy Oaks Road and realign a portion of the road. The studies for Segment 1 will wrap up in the fourth quarter of 2021 and for Segment 2 in the first quarter of 2022. A project timeline will be identified later.
