Several events are happening in The Woodlands area this weekend, Sept. 11-13, including a day of remembrance on Sept. 11. The weekend will also include events such as Motley Crüe at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion and Gabby MEOWsum Discovery Day at The Woodlands Children’s Museum. Events are subject to change.
25th Anniversary Patriot Day of Remembrance
Join The Woodlands Fire Department for a morning of remembrance 25 years after the Sept. 11 attacks. The ceremony will honor lives lost and recognize the nation's first responders at The Woodlands Central Fire Station.

Gabby MEOWsum Discovery Day
The Woodlands Children’s Museum will host Gabby MEOWsum Discovery Days Photo Experience beginning Sept. 11. The event will include cat activities, and a special photo opportunity with a Gabby backdrop and standee, according to the museum's website.
Motley Crüe
Motley Crüe will perform with a night of rock at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. Attendees can expect anthems and fan favorites by the band. Tesla and Extreme will also perform rock hits on stage prior to the headliner performance.
Friday Night Heights
Friday Night Heights is an after-dark experience held at Texas TreeVentures on a three-level aerial adventure with close to 100 elements that challenge both mentally and physically. The duration of the climb is two hours.
The Woodlands Farmers Market
The Woodlands Farmers Market will be open at the Grogan’s Mill Village Center where vendors will sell fresh produce, farm-fresh meat, artisan goods and more.

Backing The Brave TX
The community festival will take place for the third year in a row, which will offer services from local vendors, family-friendly activities, live entertainment and resources for those currently or formerly serving in the military. Every dollar raised at the event will support Thin Line Force’s mission to provide assistance to veterans, active duty military, first responders and their families in Montgomery County. Admission is free.
Kehlani performance
R&B singer, Kehlani is performing both fan hits and new music at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion on Sept. 13. Fans can expect an immersive concert experience with a blend of R&B and pop music.
