Firefighters are targeting the east side of Spring, including the Postwood, North Spring, Sandpiper Trails, Fairfax Village and Birnamwood neighborhoods and subdivisions, Evans said.
Rescued residents are being relocated to shelters mostly in Willowbrook and Humble, she said.
