1. The Kuykendahl Road bridge over Spring Creek  opened to the public July 6. Improvements include the installation of a twin two-lane bridge. This project was a joint partnership between The Woodlands Road Utility District 1, Montgomery County and Harris County. The cost of construction was $6.1 million.

2. A contractor was scheduled to begin construction on a traffic signal on Cutten Road at Vintage Preserve Parkway on Aug. 7 at a cost of $49,982.
