She owns Champions Golf Club with her husband, Jack Burke, Jr., who was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1978. The couple is the first husband and wife couple in the Texas Golf Hall of Fame.
The Texas Golf Hall of Fame was founded in 1978 and is located outside of Willis. It serves to create awareness of golfers, golf courses and golf personalities in the state.
“It’s an honor to be in the hall of fame and follow my husband and his father and the Champions Golf Club in the Hall of Fame,” Burke said. “I’m thrilled. I’m just very happy to be a part of that Texas history.”
