The Klein ISD board of trustees unanimously voted Aug. 8 to rename the Klein High School College and Career Center as the Laminack-Grove College and Career Center. According to district officials, the new name honors Jim Laminack and Bob Grove, who both served as Klein High School principals and went on to serve as directors of school administration. Laminack and Grove each also received the Donald R. Collins Distinguished Educator Award in KISD.
