Located at 1700 City Plaza Drive, Spring, City Place 1 totals 149,500 square feet and was the first multitenant office building constructed in City Place.
According to the release, Orion Engineer Carbons is a manufacturer of specialty carbon blacks and rubber carbon blacks. The business will occupy 10,589 square feet of space on the third floor and is expected to move in by late summer.
Evonik Corp., an international specialty chemical company, will occupy 9,617 square feet of space on the fifth floor and is expected to move in this fall.
Finally, education design firm Huckabee & Associates will occupy 6,503 square feet of space on the first floor and is also expected to move in by late summer.
