Nov. 23 marked five years in business for Orthotex Smile Specialists, an orthodontics office with locations at 2540 FM 2920, Spring, and at 11942 Barker Cypress Road, Cypress. The Spring location opened in 2016 while the Cypress location opened in 2018. The office is locally owned by Dr. Zane Haider, and it offers braces and Invisalign services for children and adults.

In addition to his love for orthodontics, Haider has an interest in the world of livestock, partnering with local Future Farmers of America clubs and Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo scholarship committees. He and his alpaca, Coco Chanel, competed at the 2021 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, winning first place in two categories.
