Established in 1989, the Houston-based company imports and distributes more than 4,900 brands of spirits and wine from over 80 countries to all U.S. states, according to a news release. The new 250,000-square-foot facility contains a warehouse for the company’s direct imported products as well as a temperature-controlled warehouse for its liquor, wine and beer inventory.
Eduardo Morales, president and CEO of Mexcor International, said the move was made in response to companywide growth.
“Our decision to relocate our headquarters came as a result of our expanding international footprint and continued growth here in Houston,” Morales said in the news release. “Our company successfully overcame unprecedented obstacles this past year and we are optimistic about what that future holds for Mexcor International.”
