Harris County Emergency Services District No. 11 will host a public hearing for the community to provide input on the district’s proposed fiscal year 2020-21 $0.03605 tax rate.

The tax rate is 3.87% higher than the FY 2019-20 tax rate of $0.034707. The proposed tax rate is just $0.000001 less than the rate allowed by the state to not be voter approved.

The public hearing will be Oct. 15 at 9 a.m. at 19720 Kuykendahl Road, Spring.
