Attend a dog-diving competition July 4-7 North American Diving Dogs hosts its Splash Paws Independence Day Splash, a four-day dock-diving trail with 14 total distance splashes and four air retrieval splashes. Dogs must have a total of three jumps to qualify for the finals. Rosettes are awarded for the finals as well as new titles. 9 a.m. $20-$25. 4. See fireworks at Hurricane Harbor Splashtown July 4-5 Hurricane Harbor Splashtown celebrates Independence Day with an after-hours fireworks spectacular including music, games and prizes. The Wave Fool and FlowRider attractions will be open during the after-hours event, and fireworks will begin at dusk. Dance the night away July 5 The Conservatory at Champion Forest hosts its annual Stars & Stripes Dance for residents and their family and friends to celebrate Independence Day with dancing, live entertainment and dinner.
