North Houston Skatepark Lone Star Nationals

The 2024 USA BMX Lone Star Nationals will include amateur and professional BMX riders at the 20-acre park with bowls, dirt jumps, pump tracks, a flatland freestyle area, walking trails and public art.

Earth Day Celebration

In celebration of Earth Day, the Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts will host a Museum Family Day featuring more than 20 vendors, face painting, art activities, floral arranging and dance performances. The museum will also be giving away 50 Chromebooks to families on a first-come, first-served basis who bring their Harris County Library card as well as proof of free and reduced-price lunch.

Saboteur Discovery Session


Curves Klein West Owner Marie Fletcher and Reboot Bariatric Coach Tina Chappell will join forces to present a Saboteur Discovery Session to help attendees better understand their own “saboteurs”—the negative mental muscle that generates negative emotions and can determine how a person thinks, feels and responds—and how to shift their mindset to reach their goals. The Cypress Creek Foundation for the Arts and Community Enrichment is holding an evening with Jackie Evancho, chronicling her career thus far while introducing fans to new music.‘High School Musical 2 Jr.’

Playhouse 1960 is presenting “High School Musical 2 Jr.,” a musical based on the Disney Channel original movie of the same name. The musical will be presented by The Young Actors Stage Productions, which are performed by students ages 5-17.
