‘Alabama Story’

Playhouse 1960 is presenting “Alabama Story,” a play about the Civil Rights movement by Kenneth Jones.

2024 Lighthouse for Students Gala

The Lighthouse for Students Gala is an annual fundraising event that benefits Lighthouse’s mission to aid academic and social programs for Houston’s at-risk youth. The Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts is holding a Black History Month Celebration and Family Day, during which visitors can create art inspired by Black artists, listen to a storyteller and enjoy a West African drumming performance.
