Houston Zoo light recycling

Unwanted holiday lights are being collected for a limited time at Lemm Elementary School and the Forest Oaks Clubhouse through a partnership with the Houston Zoo. The effort aims to protect the habitats of local animals from being polluted. All year, the school is also collecting small electronics for recycling, including cell phones, MP3 players, tablets, Wi-Fi hotspots, handheld gaming devices, GPS, chargers and Bluetooth headsets.
