Dia De Los Muertos

City Place will host its third annual Dia De Los Muertos celebration, a three-day festival honoring the popular Mexican and Latin American holiday. The newest addition to this annual event, Art of The Spirit, will take place Oct. 27 and feature food stations, tequila tastings, an intricate skull face painting, floral crown creations, cigar rolling and live music.

2023 Northwest Harris County Heart Walk

Lone Star College-University Park will host the American Heart Association Northwest Harris County Heart Walk for the eighth time with an estimated 1,000 walkers. The event will also include heart health information, which will be distributed through vendor booths, as well as giveaways and an interactive kid’s zone.

Drive 4 Ur School
