Dustin Creager and board President Rob Ellis have maintained their leads in their respective Klein ISD board of trustee races, with 30 voting centers out of 600 reporting, according to the Harris County Clerk's website.

Creager is leading in the Position 3 trustee race against and Jack Velasquez, voting results show. Creager garnered 7,389 votes while Velasquez garnered 4,957 votes.

Ellis is leading against challenger Justin "Bumpy" Wooldridge for the Position 7 trustee spot, voting results show. Ellis has earned 8,674 votes while Wooldridge has earned 3,544 votes.

One incumbent and one challenger are leading the races to claim Klein ISD board of trustee seats, early voting results posted on the Harris County Clerk's website show.

Current situation

Dustin Creager is leading in the Position 3 trustee race against and Jack Velasquez, early voting results show. Creager has earned 7,360 votes while Velasquez has earned 4,901 votes.

The Position 3 spot was filled by trustee Georgan Reitmeier after former trustee Chris Todd resigned in May, as previously reported by Community Impact.


Meanwhile, board President Rob Ellis is leading against challenger Justin "Bumpy" Wooldridge for the Position 7 trustee spot, early voting results show. Ellis has garnered 8,627 votes while Wooldridge has garnered 3,506 votes.

All results are unofficial until canvassed.What else?

Trustee Cathy M. Arellano filed to run for reelection in Position 6 and is currently unopposed, as previously reported.

Each member of the board of trustees is elected to an at-large position for three years in a nonpartisan election, according to the KISD website.
