If elected, my top priority will be student success, driven by strong partnerships with parents and teachers.
How would you help the district prepare for budget challenges should the Texas Legislature not allocate additional public education funding during the 89th session?
To tackle budget challenges, I’ll start by hearing from those affected every day. From there, I’ll use my problem-solving skills to help find practical solutions.
SISD student enrollment has dropped about 6% in the last decade. How will you help improve student attendance and enrollment at SISD?
Addressing parental and student concerns is key to improving enrollment.
What will make you the best choice for Spring ISD’s board of trustees?
I am fully committed to SISD. For the past three years, I have dedicated myself to improving students' educational experiences and outcomes by asking tough questions, engaging with the community and driving innovative solutions. With 13 years in education and extensive board training, I understand what our schools need.
What will your biggest priorities be should you be elected?
My top priority is ensuring that every SISD student is seen, safe and supported. I will prioritize high-quality education and improved student outcomes, holding ourselves accountable to meeting the diverse needs of our learners, and actively involving families, educators, staff and students in decision-making to continuously improve our district.
How would you help the district prepare for budget challenges should the Texas Legislature not allocate additional public education funding during the 89th session?
Since 2021, I have worked to address budget challenges from the pandemic, inflation and limited state funding. I introduced tools to make strategic budget decisions focused on student impact, helping cut our deficit by $13 million. I’ll continue working to secure resources students need, including advocating for increased state funding.

SISD offers full-day Pre-K, schools of choice, a nationally recognized arts program and 33 career pathways—from automotive to animation. I will proudly showcase our district’s innovations and successes to attract families. I will also continue strengthening community engagement and amplifying student voices to identify solutions to improve our district.
