The Spring ISD community is celebrating the 50th anniversary of Reynolds Elementary School on May 3, according to an April 30 news release from the district. The 10 a.m. event will feature a mini school history museum, student performances and speakers talking about the school’s history.

Reynolds Elementary School teaches students in grades pre-K-5 and is led by Principal Timothy Livingston, according to the school’s website. The school was built in 1973 and is named after former SISD principal Pat Reynolds, who led the school for 24 years when it was named Oak Creek Elementary.
