According to a July 18 news release, the expo is meant to provide information to parents to help their families succeed. The expo will include school supplies, assistance with registration, language testing, haircuts for students, health screening and immunizations.
Vendors may arrive at 7:30 a.m. to begin setting up their tables. Tables will be given on a first-come, first-served basis. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

Additionally, all parents are required to verify or update their child's information before the first day of school, Aug. 16. Similar to previous years, parents and guardians will need to log into their Home Access Center to complete the annual update. Parents with more than one student will need to complete separate registration forms for each child.
If parents have trouble logging in or have questions, they can visit www.springisd.org/returning-students.
