Spring and Klein ISDs have opened enrollment for the upcoming 2021-22 school year for prekindergarten and kindergarten students.

According to a March 24 news release, SISD kicked off its annual Pre-K Round Up on April 5 with the launch of an online registration platform. In addition to enrolling pre-K students, the district will also be accepting registration for new kindergarten students.

For the 2021-22 school year, SISD will offer full-day pre-K at all 25 elementary campuses as well as at the new School for International Studies at Bammel located at Bammel Middle School. According to the district's website, pre-K at elementary campuses will run from 8:05 a.m.-3:25 p.m., while pre-K at the School for International Studies at Bammel will run from 8:55 a.m.-4:15 p.m.

Similarly, KISD officials announced in an April 5 news release that parents and guardians of students entering pre-K and kindergarten for the 2021-22 school year will be able to register their student in person at their student's zoned campus April 27 from 4:30-6 p.m. Parents and guardians may also request enrollment access online by clicking here.

Students who attended pre-K in KISD for the 2020-21 school year will be automatically registered for kindergarten in KISD for the 2021-22 school year.

For both districts, pre-K students for the 2021-22 school year must be 4 years old on or before Sept. 1 and meet Texas Education Agency eligibility requirements; eligible kindergarten students must be 5 years or older on or before Sept. 1.
