Spring, Klein and Cy-Fair ISDs all have education foundations, which are nonprofit organizations that work to provide financial support for students and teachers through scholarships and grants.

Each education foundation is governed by a volunteer board of trustees or directors made up of local business, corporate and community leaders. The boards host fundraising events throughout the year to support students and staff across each district.

Since each organization’s inception in 2000, 1992 and 1970, respectively, the KISD Education Foundation has awarded $1.6 million in teacher grants, while the SISD Education Foundation has distributed $1.04 million in funds, and the CFISD Education Foundation has awarded $9 million in scholarships, according to each entity’s website.
